Danny Draven is an award-winning director, producer and writer of horror films and a member of the PRODUCERS GUILD OF AMERICA. From slashers, to robots, to vampires, to beds that kill, each one has a unique story behind it. All of Draven’s work has been distributed worldwide on DVD, the Internet, and Television. He started out working with genre notables like Full Moon Picture's owner Charles Band (Puppet Master, Trancers, Subspecies), as well as producing and directing a movie for Master of Horror Stuart Gordon (Re-Animator, Stuck, Edmund). Draven’s production company, Darkworld Pictures, recently finished a 35mm feature called GHOST MONTH, a supernatural-thriller in which he produced, wrote and directed. The film won the Best Director and Best Cinematography award at the Chicago Horror Film festival and is now on DVD and Blu-Ray in North America and also airs on CHILLER TV. Besides being a professional editor, Draven is also the owner of a post-production company, Darkworld Post, in which he recently edited the Sci-Fi Channel original movie ICE SPIDERS. The company is open to all filmmakers and specializes in post-production for independents. They do everything from film editing to DVD authoring for small to large sized budgets. He is also the author of a book called THE FILMMAKER’S BOOK OF THE DEAD: How To Make Your Own Heart-Racing Horror Film, now available from Focal Press.
